1. Is it safe and gentle for both cats and dogs?
Yes – the Misty brush is designed to be gentle and safe for both cats and dogs. It uses rounded comb teeth and a soft silicone base that won’t scratch your pet’s skin. The brush also runs quietly with a cool mist, helping pets stay calm. Even normally brush-shy cats have been known to relax and enjoy the spa-like mist and gentle massage from Misty.
2. How does the mist help with grooming?
Misty’s dual-level cool mist makes grooming easier in a few ways. The mist tames static and softens the fur so the comb glides through more smoothly. It also keeps loose hair from flying around by gently clumping it on the brush, which makes cleanup easier. You can choose a light mist for short coats or a heavier mist for thick, long fur as needed.
3. Will it really catch and remove loose hair?
Absolutely. The Misty brush effectively picks up loose fur as you groom, and the cool mist helps the shed hair stick to the brush instead of floating away. All the collected fur comes off in one go when you press the click-clean button – the 1-click self-clean feature removes hair instantly. This means you’ll see a nice bundle of fur on the brush (not on your clothes or couch), and a quick button press drops it right into the trash.
4. How do I clean it after use?
Cleaning Misty is quick and easy. After grooming, just press the click-clean button to eject all the hair from the brush head. Empty out any remaining water from the tank and wipe it dry. The brush’s head is also swappable/detachable, so you can remove it and rinse or wipe it down if needed. With these simple steps, Misty is ready for next time.
5. What’s special about the magnetic charging?
Misty uses a magnetic safe charging system. The charging cable simply snaps on magnetically, so there’s no fiddling with tiny plugs. This makes charging hassle-free and also safer – the connector will safely detach if the cord is tugged, and there’s no open port, which means it’s better protected from water and dirt.
6. Does it work on all fur types?
Yes! Misty is made to work for almost all coat types. It comes with two swappable brush heads – a short-pin head for short-haired pets and a long-pin head for pets with thicker or longer coats. You can also switch between two mist levels (light mist for fine or shorter fur, and heavy mist for dense or long fur) to suit your pet’s needs.
